I have 6 years experience making streaming video
for a large corporation. Again, part of the
secret to making good streaming video is having
the right equipment. I use the same software
that Hollywood uses. I will take the video I
converted for you to DVD and convert to streaming
video, if you like. That way, you can have your
family all over the country see little Jimmy's
first steps or your daughter's wedding video.
My vendor has exceptionally reliable servers,
they are always available and your video will
always stream.

Here's an example of our work. This is a streaming
video I made from a 60 Minutes interview that
I taped using standard VHS.

This video was taped from a tv show. I made
this streaming video from the digital file I
used to make the dvd. The dvd is much better
quality than this video because I only make
streaming video at 300k/bits/per/second so there's
no buffering on dsl. My dvds exceed 7megabit/per/second,
which means a lot more bitstream for information!!
The dvd is of higher quality than the vhs master
I made it from because my equipment has digital
video and audio noise reduction filters.

We use a full frame Time Base Corrector, a Datavideo
TBC-1000. A Full frame TBC will correct any
sync and timing problems coming out of the VCR,
caused by problems with the tape itself. Here's
an example of the power of this little jewel:
Look carefully at the 'Without TBC' and you'll
see all sorts of up and down motion and waviness,
as if it was filmed underwater.
